Alumni and industry professionals help MAE students practice their networking skills

As a culminating experience to the Econ 429 Professional Development course, 13 professionals visited campus on December 5-6, 2019, to share their industry insights and career advice with MAE students.  Students had an opportunity to learn about networking techniques then practiced those skills with industry volunteers. Students walked away with a greater understanding of how to introduce themselves to a new professional, proper handshake techniques, how to contribute to a group conversation and how to walk away gracefully from a conversation.  Additional opportunities for networking will be available in winter quarter.  Are you an industry professional who would like to share your career insights with MAE students?  Please email Sabrina Chen澳门真人游戏网址注册 to find out more!
